Matthew has been serving as the Senior Pastor of FBC Whitwell since September 6, 2020. He is originally from Summerville, GA and is a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (B.S.) and received his M.Div from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry through SEBTS. Matthew has been married to his wife Kendele since 2020. In his spare time Matthew enjoys trying out new restaurants, traveling and cheering on his two favorite teams, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
Allison joined the staff of FBC Whitwell in September of 2002. She leads our music ministry along with the student ministry. She is married to her husband Roger.
Barbara has served as the Administrative Assistant for FBC Whitwell since 2017. Previously she worked for nearly 30 years for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
